This one's for you if you already set up your AI stylist and did your color and fit analysis. Now it's time to actually put it to work.
I gave my stylist one job: build my fall capsule. It checks what's already in my closet first, then fills the gaps with pieces in my colors and my best cuts, mixes them into eight outfits, and gives me a shopping list with real links. Copy the prompt, paste it into the same chat or Project where your stylist lives, and answer its questions.

A few tips before you start:
- Upload closet photos if you can. It's so much faster than typing it all out, and it won't tell you to buy a camel coat you already have.
- It asks one question at a time. Say "skip" anytime you don't know or don't care.
- Look over the written capsule before you ask for the images. It's way easier to swap a piece now than to redo four images.
- Click every link and check the size and price yourself before you buy.
What you need
Your AI stylist. I built mine in ChatGPT, so the steps on this page are for ChatGPT.
Your stylist Project: Paste the prompt into a new chat inside your My Personal AI Stylist Project, so it already knows your colors, fit, sizes and stores.
Closet photos (optional): A few photos of what you own: your closet, a stack of sweaters, your shoes. Tap the + or paperclip in the chat box to upload them.
The four images: ChatGPT can make the images right in the chat. Free plans limit how many images you can make a day, so you may need to come back later for the last ones.
Menus move around a lot. If you get stuck, ask ChatGPT itself: "How do I upload photos here?" More on the different AI apps in The AI Tools I Actually Use.
Before you start: 2 minutes of setup
- Open your AI stylist Project and start a new chat there.

- Snap a few closet photos in good light. Keep anything personal out of the shot, like mail with your address on it.
- Know your budget for fall, even a rough number.

Do I need a paid plan?
You can start on ChatGPT's free plan. Free plans limit how many images you can make each day, so you might get the written capsule today and the four images tomorrow. Plans change often, so check ChatGPT's own plan page for the latest.
Do I have to tell it everything I own?
Nope. Upload what's easy, answer what you know, and say "skip" for the rest. If you skip the closet check completely, it builds the capsule from your favorite stores and calls the buying order a suggestion.
A link is broken or the item looks different.
Say "Check this link again and tell me if it's sold out or different from what you described." Always click through yourself before you buy.
Is it safe to upload closet photos?
Check your AI app's privacy settings first, like whether your chats are used to train its models. Keep mail, your kids and anything with your address out of the shot.
Will this work in Claude or Gemini?
The prompt works in any AI that knows your stylist details, so paste those in first if you set up somewhere else. For the four images you need an AI that makes pictures, like ChatGPT or Gemini.
