The Get Hotter Guide: Your Personal AI Glow-Up Board
Prefer to take it one step at a time? Open the interactive glow-up board. It walks you through each session and saves your progress as you go.
Yes, I know. The title is a little ridiculous, and I'm fully in on the joke.
But here's what I actually mean by it. Getting hotter isn't only about how you look. It's about your whole sense of self: how confident you feel, how you carry yourself, whether you feel like you when you walk into a room. Looking pretty and feeling good absolutely help. They're part of it. They're just not the whole thing.
This started small. In August I asked ChatGPT what I could realistically do to improve my appearance at 37, without Botox or filler. Its first answer was to shape and tint my brows, which I had ignored for basically my entire adult life. I booked the appointment, and I love them. Then you all pointed out how much that first answer left out, so I went back with a much bigger request. I asked Chat to act as my dermatologist, aesthetician, nutritionist, personal trainer and life coach, gave it real full-body photos, and asked for a complete plan.
It built one. My goal was never a number on a scale. I wanted to look and feel leaner, stronger, more polished and healthier-looking. And the real win turned out to be bigger than any of those words. This whole experiment got me getting up, getting dressed and feeling put-together and confident again. That part has been worth all of it.
This guide is the version I wish I'd had on day one. Picture unlimited resources and a calendar full of appointments with every expert you've ever wished you could see: a personal and life coach, a mental health coach, a career coach, a dermatologist, a colorist, a color analyst, a stylist, a trainer, a dietitian, even a plastic surgeon consult just to understand your options. Nobody can book all of them. But you can sit down with AI playing each one, one appointment at a time, and walk out with a plan built around your goals, your face, your body, your budget and your actual week.
That's your Personal Glow-Up Board. And it starts with who you want to be, not what you want to change.
What you'll walk away with:
A clear picture of how you want to look, feel and show up, in your own words
Expert-style sessions for your mindset, energy, body, skin, hair, colors, makeup, smile and style, each ending in a summary card you can screenshot
Budget options for everything: free or at home, mid and splurge
Smart questions to bring to real professionals, so your appointments go further
One 90-day plan and tracker that rolls it all together, plus a weekly and monthly check-in that tracks how you feel, not just what you did
What you need:
ChatGPT. The free plan works. A paid plan makes uploading lots of photos easier. Claude and Gemini work too, though button names will differ.
About 45 minutes for setup and your first session, then 20 to 30 minutes for each session after that
A handful of unfiltered photos of yourself (Setup tells you exactly which ones)
Honest answers. The more real you are, the more useful every session gets.
Last checked: October 2026. AI tools change quickly, so a button or menu may look a little different when you try this.
HOW THIS GUIDE WORKS
Think of this as a series of appointments. Each numbered step is one expert on your board, and each session follows the same shape:
What a real appointment covers, so you know what a great version of this looks like
What to bring: the photos, product lists or schedule that make the session personal
The prompt: the message you copy and paste into ChatGPT. It tells Chat to act as that expert and run a real consultation in stages. It asks you its questions first, waits for your answers, then works through the rest on its own and finishes with a summary card.
You walk away with: the deliverable from that session
When to see the real one: an honest line on where AI stops and a licensed professional should take over
The board is ordered on purpose, in five parts:
Start with you (Steps 01 to 03). Your glow-up director sets everything up, then your personal and life coach and your mental health coach help you define who you want to be and how you want to feel. Everything else serves that.
Feel good in your body (Steps 04 to 07). Sleep and stress, strength, food and posture. Energy is the foundation for everything that comes after.
Look like yourself, polished (Steps 08 to 15). Skin, colors, hair, brows, makeup, smile and style.
Optional extras (Steps 16 and 17). An aesthetic medicine consult prep, only if you're curious, and finishing touches like scent, nails and photos.
Show up and make it stick (Steps 18 to 22). Presence and confidence, your work life, your master 90-day plan, the Sunday check-in and the monthly progress review.
You don't have to do every session. Your glow-up director will tell you which ones matter most for your goals and which to skip for now. One session a week is a lovely pace. If you'd rather do three on a quiet Sunday night, that works too. Just start with Step 01.
When you see [brackets] in a prompt, replace them with your own details. Everything else you can paste exactly as written.
Short on time? Take the short path. You don't need every session. Do these four and you'll have a real plan in about two hours: 01 The Glow-Up Director, 02 The Personal + Life Coach, the one expert your director ranks first, then 20 Your Master 90-Day Plan. Add the Sunday Check-In every week, and come back for the rest whenever you like.
Save every card as text. Before you close each session, ask "Give me this card as plain text," paste it into one note called My Glow-Up Cards, and add that note to your Project files every week or two. That's how your later experts, and your 90-day plan, actually see what earlier ones said.
BEFORE YOU START
1. Make your Glow-Up Project
A Project in ChatGPT is like a folder for one topic. Every chat you start inside it can see the same instructions and files, and Chat can remember what you talked about in earlier chats in that folder. That's what lets your dermatologist session know what your personal coach said. It's the single most important part of this setup.
Open ChatGPT and click New project in the left sidebar (on your phone, open the menu first).
Name it My Glow-Up Board.
If it asks about memory, choose Project-only memory. That keeps everything in this folder from mixing with the rest of your chats.
Open the Project's settings and find the instructions box. Instructions are standing rules Chat follows in every chat inside the Project. Paste the text below, fill in your brackets and save.
2. Take your photos
Good photos are the difference between generic advice and advice about you. Stand facing a window in daylight, with the phone at eye level. No filters, no Portrait mode, no beauty mode. Make a photo album called Glow-Up Board so they're easy to find.
Face straight on, makeup-free, hair pulled back
Face with your hair down, styled the way you usually wear it
Both side profiles
Close-ups of anything you're curious about (skin, brows, hair texture)
A natural smile showing your teeth
Three full-length photos (front, side and back) in fitted clothes, like leggings and a tank
One photo in an outfit you love, and one in your everyday uniform
Each session lists which of these to attach, plus anything extra it needs. You'll retake the same set once a month in Step 22, so note where you stood.
About measurements: your height and clothing sizes are helpful for the stylist and fitness sessions. Your weight is optional. If stepping on the scale doesn't help you, skip it. Nothing in this guide depends on it.
3. Check your privacy settings
These are real photos of you, so take two minutes here. In ChatGPT's settings, look at Data controls to see whether your chats can be used to improve the models, and turn that off if you'd prefer. Keep this Project private and don't share it. You can always delete photos or chats later.
