How to use this prompt

  1. Give AI the dates, activities or schedule you want added to your calendar. Copy and paste the entire prompt below into the same chat. Replace [NAME + EXACT CALENDAR EMAIL] with the actual person’s name and calendar email. If nobody should be invited, enter NONE. Review the proposed events, correct anything necessary, and approve the events before anything is created. Let the AI create the events and verify its work. You only need to paste the prompt once.

Connection note

Requires access to Google Calendar if you want AI to create the events for you.

Use the scheduling information I’ve already provided in this chat. If I haven’t provided the information yet, ask me to paste, upload or describe it before continuing.

Create Google Calendar events from that information.

STEP 1: REVIEW THE INFORMATION

First, identify every event or activity that should potentially be added to my calendar.

For each one, determine:

• event title

• date

• start time

• end time or estimated duration

• local time zone

• location or full address when available

• useful details for the event description

• whether it is a one-time or recurring event

• whether anyone should be invited

If any important date, time, time zone, recurrence, location or other required detail is unclear, ask me before continuing.

Do not guess important scheduling details.

STEP 2: CHECK MY EXISTING CALENDAR

Before creating anything, check my Google Calendar for events that match or substantially overlap the same:

• date

• time

• activity

• location

Do not create duplicates.

Do not change or delete existing events unless I explicitly ask.

STEP 3: SHOW ME THE PROPOSED EVENTS

Show me exactly what you intend to create before making changes.

Include:

• title

• date

• start and end time

• time zone

• location

• recurrence, if any

• invitee, if any

Invite:

[NAME + EXACT CALENDAR EMAIL]

If I enter NONE, do not invite anyone.

Wait for my approval before creating the events.

STEP 4: CREATE THE EVENTS

After I approve:

• use the correct date, time and local time zone

• add the full location or address when available

• add useful details to the description

• create a recurring event only when the repeating pattern is clearly established

• do not add Google Meet or other video links unless I specifically request one

• invite only the person I approved

If you cannot access or make changes to Google Calendar, stop and tell me what connection or permission is missing.

Do not tell me an event was created unless the calendar action actually succeeded.

STEP 5: CHECK YOUR WORK

After creating everything:

• check for duplicate events

• make sure no approved event was missed

• confirm all dates and times are correct

• confirm recurring events were created correctly

• confirm locations and useful details were added

• confirm the correct person was invited

If you find an error, fix it and tell me what you changed.

Then tell me everything is complete and flag anything I should double-check.
