Build Your Own Motion Library with Claude Code

Claude Code turned the Reels I saved into my own motion graphics library. Save Reels with edits you love, and it rebuilds every animation on your own videos, in your colors and fonts.

Sam’s Tips

Start small. 3 to 5 Reels is plenty for your first round.

Only keep the moves you'd actually use. Tossing is part of it.

Found a new edit you love? Save the Reel to the same folder and tell Claude, "Add the new moves from this Reel to my motion library."

The screen recordings are just for Claude to study. Your library is built on your own videos, so never post other creators' clips.

What You’ll Need

• Claude Code (it comes with every paid Claude plan, like Pro)

• 3 to 5 screen recordings of Reels with edits you love, saved in one folder on your computer

• A few of your own videos in another folder, plus your brand colors and fonts

• About an hour for your first round of test clips

Claude Code (any paid Claude plan)

I want my own motion graphics library for my videos. Ask me which folders, colors and fonts to use, then:

1. Watch my saved screen recordings of Reels I love, frame by frame, and list every animation: what moves, how many frames it takes, and the word it lands on.

2. Rebuild each move on my own footage, in my colors and fonts, as a short test clip. Install any free tools you need, and never change my original files.

3. Show me the test clips so I can keep or toss each one.

4. Save the moves I keep as a skill with exact specs, so in any video I edit you pick the best move for each line.

5. Build one page where every kept move plays, with what it does and when to use it.
